The rental fees for our motorcycles include the following services:
use of the rented motorcycle, with 300 km per day, and 200 HUF per kilometer above that
the cost of the Hungarian motorway vignette
compulsory third-party liability insurance and comprehensive (casco) insurance valid in all European Union countries
free use of the storage boxes and top case shown for the given motorcycle
use of a mobile phone holder on every motorcycle
What is not included in the rental fee?
fuel costs
foreign motorway vignette fees
accident and luggage insurance
official charges and fines for traffic offenses
repair costs arising from improper use.
What is the deposit, and how does it work?
The deposit covers damage caused by the renter or resulting from the renter's negligence. Depending on the rented motorcycle, it ranges between 200,000 and 400,000 HUF.
The deposit can be paid in cash when picking up the motorcycle, or by a bank card pre-authorization (hold). In the latter case no money actually moves from your account; the deposit amount is placed on hold by your bank.
After the motorcycle, its accessories, and the protective riding gear are returned undamaged, we refund the deposit or release the hold on your account.

In what cases and where is the comprehensive (casco) insurance valid?
It covers damage resulting from collision, other accidents, and theft.
In each of the above cases, the renter is liable for the damage caused up to the amount of the deposit.
Exclusions where the renter bears full liability: driving under the influence, off-road or racing use, and any incident occurring in a non-permitted country.
The contract is valid for the territory of Europe – including the entire territory of Turkey. The insurance does not cover the successor states of the former Soviet Union, except for the territories of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine.
What counts as one rental day?
A 24-hour period (e.g. from Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to Thursday 9:00 a.m.)
If the rental period is exceeded by 0–6 hours, the moto24.hu system automatically charges an additional 0.5 day of rental fee.
If the rental period is exceeded by more than 6 hours, the moto24.hu system charges an additional 1 day of rental fee.
If, due to the delay, Moto24.hu is unable to hand the motorcycle over to the next renter holding a valid booking, the rental fee lost in this way will be deducted from the deposit of the renter who caused the delay.
At weekends Moto24.hu only accepts 2-day rentals. Motorcycles are handed over on Friday from 2:00 p.m. and returned by Monday 10:00 a.m. In this case a 2-day rental fee is payable – please pay attention to the dates when booking! The total weekend mileage limit is 750 km.
What documents are required to rent a motorcycle?
a valid, unrestricted category A driving licence
valid personal identification documents or a passport
an address card (proof of address)
Can I leave my luggage at the Moto24.hu office while I am out riding?
Of course – while you are riding, your luggage will be waiting safely in a separate room at our office.
My friends and I rented more than one motorcycle from Moto24.hu. Is it possible to swap them during our trip?
Of course, there is nothing to stop you from trying out every model you have rented.
How can I cancel my booking?
Moto24.hu will do everything it can to reschedule a cancelled rental, on one occasion, to a date when the circumstances that caused the cancellation have passed (injury, bad weather, etc.). In such cases rescheduling involves no extra cost.
If a rental is cancelled more than once, moto24.hu will not refund the amount received as an advance payment.
If the full rental fee has been paid in advance, in the event of cancellation we will refund the amount above 30% to the renter (the transfer fee is deducted from the amount refunded).
